Overview
Despite the recognised importance of knowledge resulting from research there are barriers translating knowledge to practice. This assessment will provide a forum which leads to an understanding of impediments to health care workers uptake of research at an individual, unit and organisational level (Curtis, et al. 2017). This paper asks you to identify a past change and discuss the planning and implementation.Curtis, K., Fry, M., Shaban, R. Z., & Considine, J. (2017). Translating research findings to    clinical nursing practice. Journal of Clinical Nursing, 26(5-6), 862–872. https://doi.org/10.1111/jocn.13586

Use good quality evidence from the literature and your learning material to support a discussion on the barriers and enablers that assisted the change, or prevented it from happening, or happening smoothly. Within your discussion identify the key stake holders of the change and why, discuss which of these parties were involved in planning the change,1 was everyone represented? Also discuss who were beneficiaries of the change and who perceived the change as undesirable. Discuss if the change was sustainable and why or why not. Finally provide a brief discussion on what you would do differently.
